We will also see Tel Facher a strategic hill where 42 soldiers from the Golani Brigade lost there lives concurring it during the same war. We will stand on one of the highest peaks on the Golan to get a better understanding of the conflict between Israel and Syria.
The Crusaders & their Fortresses in the Galilee
This tour takes you to different fortresses and battlefields from the 12th & 13th centuries to get a good understanding of the Crusader period in Israel, which lasted for almost 200 years. Their reign was known as the "Kingdom of Jerusalem" even though they didn't have access to Jerusalem a large portion of the time. A natural continuation of this tour is a tour to the Churches that have remained from the Crusader era, in and around Jerusalem. Acco & Ceasaria are only incorporated into this tour by request.
