What people have to say about touring Israel with the right guide!

Thank you for the incredible tour. The eight days we spent touring with you will change our lives forever. Your depth of knowledge of all things Israeli, as well as the obvious passion you have for your country, contributed greatly to the quality of the tour. We have traveled a fair amount and I can honestly say that our time in Israel tops the list. I can't wait to return! Thanks also for your flexibility and willingness- no, insistence- on tailoring the tour to our personal interests. There is yet so much more to see! We always felt safe and comfortable and the insights you shared with us about geography, nature, politics, economics, and social reality were priceless. I appreciated your objectivity and ability to present many sides of an issue. A better guide could not be had. This is a trip we will long remember. Hopefully, we will return in the not too distant future to share another adventure with you - assuming that you are not booked up when we want to come - ha! In the meantime, safe adventures and health and happiness to you and your family. Shalom.

We were a little concerned about hiring a private tour guide, even though you were recommended by a very reliable source! What if you didn’t measure up to our expectations? What if we got tired of spending all day with you for several days? We needn’t have worried. Our tour of Israel was everything we hoped for, and more so. You did a superb job of explaining the political situation, both past and present. We appreciated your flexibility, while fitting in a variety of experiences and vistas. And we especially are grateful that you were able to hold your own against certain members’ of our party sense of humor. Your knowledge of all things Israel was impressive, and your passion was contagious. Thank you for sharing that with us, and for making our Israel experience more than we could have hoped for. Toda raba!

If you're thinking of using Baruch as a tour guide in Israel, stop thinking right now. Go get it done. Baruch is the best, the brightest, informed, knowledgeable, flexible and he will make your trip come alive. You don't just see the sights, you live them. Baruch brings the land of Israel alive with a fervor and a passion all his own. You will come away from your trip with a zest for all things Israel.

Baruch - I don't know how to begin to thank you for the amazing week you spent with my family. Having you as a guide made our trip an experience of a lifetime. The only part of the tour planning I had any concern about was having a guide that was right for our family. I can't imagine anyone more wonderful than you. You are incredibly knowledgeable about everything from history, religious significance and political implication, to nature and environmental balance. But it is your passion for the country that was most contagious. Your love of the land of Israel, its people and its significance is what made us look forward to each day, and makes us want to return. You were incredible how you could engage our sons at the right level for them, while still spending the time to reach Dan and I. Not only would you adapt to ensure everyone's enjoyment, but you would do it with an incredibly positive attitude. How you cater to everyone's needs and wants so seamlessly is amazing. Since we returned to the U.S. yesterday, the boys have been talking about their trip with family members and friends. Every story and adventure they discuss, you are a part of. It is amazing between all the fun, how much history they learned and the explanations they remember. Know that you have touched their lives in an incredibly positive way. You made our trip a dream come true, one that far exceeded our expectations. Thank you for this incredible experience. Until next time,

Baruch, "Toda Raba"! thank you for a wonderful tour of Israel. Again we marvel at this beautiful country and the heart and soul of it's people. Through your eyes, guiding our own, we truly have experienced a trip to remember. We cannot thank you enough for all that you have done for us. You now have a lot of friends in Cincinnati!

Baruch, you are amazing. Your knowledge about and passion for Israel enriched us in ways that we will never forget. You started as a guide and quickly became much more. Within a day you felt like an old friend; a companion with whom we shared an important journey in our lives. You were always sensitive to our interests and comforts. You enriched our time through your knowledge and your passion. You gave us a sense of safety and security, which was a very important consideration for us in making this trip. We will never forget you, and hope one day to return to Israel and have you share more of Israel with us.

I just want to say, that in any country, on any tour, with any guide, I have NEVER had a better more informative, inspirational, exciting, adventurous, interesting, fun, meaningful (There are about 100 other adjectives I could use as well but I would be up all night!) tour in my life. Since we have been back, there is not a day that goes by by that I talk to someone in my family and one of us say, "Wasn't Baruch the best tour guide in the world!!??" We are still talking about that wonderful 10 days and I have a feeling that we will be talking about it for a long, long time. It was not only your immense amount of knowledge (historical, natural, military, religious, etc.) but the way you engaged each member of our group regardless of age or background. You made everyone feel important and gave a tremendous amount of kavod to the senior members of our group. With the younger kids you interjected an element of fun where they were having such a good time they didn't realize how much they were learning. The fact that you made such special arrangements so Harel could see the wolves and even got him a DVD was so far above and beyond what anyone else would have done. From ages 2 to 79, from orthodox to non-Jew, from first-timers to people who lived in Israel - you had something for everybody every second of the day!
How did you do it??!!

Thank you for the wonderful trip in Israel. Les and I had a great time. I especially appreciated the way you involved the children and gave them a chance to contribute. You were sensitive to the abilities and needs of everyone in the group, age from 2 years to 78 years! You showed us sights and natural wonders I hadn't seen on my previous trips to Israel, especially in the Golan. Thank you for the giving us the opportunity to see Israel with fresh eyes. We wish you continued success.

We wanted to write and tell you how very much the entire family enjoyed our private guided tour of Israel. Your knowledge of both the ancient and the modern history of Israel, your enthusiasm for hiking and adventure, and your genuine innate love of the land made for an experience for our family that we will never forget. We had heard rave reviews of you from others you had guided and incredibly, you lived up to our highest expectations. You and Yael make a wonderful team and we are so glad to have entrusted our B'not Mitzvah trip to both of you. It was all we could have asked for and so much more too. The trip that Yael and you provided touched them inside and was meaningful to them. It isn't always easy or even possible to find out what is meaningful to teenagers but somehow you succeeded in doing so. This is what made it so special for us. We just can not thank you enough…."

Having Baruch as a tour guide was the best decision we made during our visit. I had been to Israel multiple times and my wife never had. Yet he was able to provide an enjoyable tour for both of us. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and a delight to have. Despite having our daughter (who is a toddler) with us and staying at different places different nights, Baruch was very accomodating. If you are considering hiring Baruch as a tour guide, stop considering. Make Baruch your tour guide. You won't be sorry.

Baruch is really good with kids and explaining history.

I'm so sorry it has taken me this long to write to you. I really wanted you to know how much you added to our trip. The trip in total was a very special one for our family and you enhanced our experience immeasurably. Your knowledge and spirit were so motivating for all of us.The way you tied the history together with the current situation in Israel taught us a tremendous amount. I know that my children really looked forward to the days spent with you , as did Mitch and I. Thank you so much for all of the efforts and patience that you gave to us. I know that it can be a challenge to reach children of different ages and you did a terrific job. The passion for your country and it's history are so evident in the way that you guide. Thank you for everything and Emily would like to thank you for the chocolate fondue!!! I am practicing on my Hebrew keyboard but I knew I could never find the right words in Hebrew to thank you. I will keep practicing and write soon. Thank you for adding so much to our experience.

I can't imagine a better guide than Baruch. He knows Israel inside and out, he took us to places that other visitors wouldn't see, and he answered every question we threw at him."
